What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Physics, Electric or related fields, 3+ years of relevant work experience, Excellent skills in software development and programming (C++, Python, bash, …), Experience with debugging and analysis tools like CANoe, Wireshark or others, Experience in the development or validation of embedded systems in the automotive or consumer electronics industries, Knowledge about ADAS/AD functions in scope for L2/L3 automated driving, Experience with E/E integration and signal tracing as well as automotive communication protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, MOST, …), Knowledge about build systems and compute platforms, Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing boundary conditions, Good communication skills, ability to formulate thoughts and ideas precisely in verbal and written form, Occasional international travel might be required, Valid US driver’s license
Nice to Have
Knowledge about vehicles in general or any specific field like sensors, ECUs, etc, Excellent communication skills, Curious, self-motivated, and excited about solving open-ended challenges at Mercedes-Benz
