Must Have
Prior experience in fund development and special events, Task-focused, self-directed, collaborative, and flexible, with the ability to learn quickly and develop creative solutions, oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, Organizational, prioritization, time management, and planning skills, Attention to detail, Ability to manage multiple projects at once, Comfort engaging with donors, sponsors, and community stakeholders in a professional and relationship-centered manner, Excellent computer skills related to the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. ), Ability to work nights and weekends on rare occasions as required
Nice to Have
Preferred experience in donor management software, data management, and data entry (preferably Raiser’s Edge NXT)
What You'll Do.
Assist in the foundation’s day-to-day fundraising efforts
etc. in donor database
Update and manage donor database
Generate receipts and donor acknowledgments for all contributions
detailed reports to the Director of Development
Prepare and submit invoices for approval
Coordinate the production of fundraising materials
Assist with grant proposals and outcome reports
Prepare materials for the Development Committee meetings
taking and sharing minutes
and other administrative duties
Develop and maintain an annual development calendar
Conduct research on individual
and foundation prospects
Collect data from various programs and departments
Provide administrative support to the Director of Development
Oversee inventory and order materials and supplies for development office
and logistics for HEF special events and PR initiatives
serving as a point of contact for vendors
Record and track event data
constituent information
and sponsorship recognition commitments
Track and ensure sponsorship recognition commitments are fulfilled
