This is a hybrid role based at the Obama Presidential Center in Jackson Park.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Project management experience – effectively plans and executes short- and long-term projects. Proactive communication and effective collaboration to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Exceptional communication – written and verbal.
Nice to Have
Previous Salesforce or other fundraising database experience is a plus. Previous development or general nonprofit operations experience is a plus.
What You'll Do.
Draft, edit, and submit error-free briefing materials for external donor meetings.
Accurately and promptly enter the regional teams’ data into Salesforce, and construct and format basic reports.
Draft meeting requests, thank-you notes, etc.

Assist the Director of Development Operations in maintaining, improving, or designing new internal department processes as needed.
Serve as the liaison between the Midwest fundraising team and Central Operations.
Draft meeting agendas and disseminate to the appropriate team members before the meeting.
For select projects or meetings, including support of regional events or Obama Presidential Center donor tours, track next steps and ensure completion.
Other duties as assigned.

The Development Analyst, Midwest will serve in an administrative and support capacity. Analysts are responsible for providing both project management and administrative support to their team so that team members are able to maximize their time on fundraising activities.
