Full Job Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Join the Project Kuiper DevOps team as an Aerospace Harnessing technician to support the fabrication, integration, and testing of electrical harnesses for spacecraft and aerospace systems. This role involves working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure harness assemblies meet stringent aerospace standards for performance, reliability, and safety. You’ll work in partnership with Lab Engineers to execute clearly defined tasks, contribute to lab upkeep and identify opportunities to improve process safety and efficiency. Key job responsibilities • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings to assemble harnesses accurately. • Fabricate harnesses using crimping, soldering, lacing, shielding, and connector assembly techniques per IPC/WHMA-A-620 and aerospace standards. • Perform electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance, and hipot testing, and accurately document results. • Inspect harnesses for workmanship quality and compliance with specifications. • Maintain build records, travelers, and inspection logs in accordance with company and industry requirements. • Apply knowledge of industry and internal standards to identify missing or ambiguous information in work instruction or designs; proactively commu
