**Desktop Support Technician (Contract)** **Location:** Tampa, FL **Work Arrangement:** 100% Onsite **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1st shift) **Contract Length:** Until the end of 2026 (possible end of January 2027) **Hourly Pay Rate:** $23/hr.-$26/hr. **Overtime:** As needed **Summary** We are seeking a highly motivated **Desktop Support Technician** to join a fast‑paced healthcare environment in Tampa, FL. This is a fully onsite contract role supporting end users in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently while providing high‑quality support in a clinical environment. **Responsibilities** * Provide desktop and technical support to end users in a hospital setting * Support Active Directory functions, including user account management and troubleshooting * Perform PC imaging, deployment, and hardware/software rollouts * Utilize SCCM for system management, deployments, and updates * Troubleshoot Microsoft Office and other standard enterprise applications * Manage and organize workstation cabling and cable management * Respond to service requests and incidents in a fast‑paced environment * Prioritize tickets effectively while meeting SLA and time management expectations * Maintain professionalism and adhere to hospital policies and procedures * Work collaboratively with IT teams while remaining self‑directed **Requirements** * 3–5 years of hands‑on desktop support experience * Experience working with: * Active Directory (AD) * SCCM * PC imaging and deployments * Microsoft Office * Strong understanding of hardware, software, and peripheral troubleshooting * Ability to work in a **hospital / healthcare environment** * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Self‑motivated, dependable, and willing to take initiative * Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, fully onsite setting * Willingness to work overtime as needed
