### **Job Description** ## Overview A Senior Structural Designer supports engineers by creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for concrete and steel structures, generating material take-offs, and ensuring designs meet specifications, typically requiring 8+ years of experience and strong skills in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, or SmartPlant 3D. ## Your role * Senior Structural Designer * The person in this position will work closely with Structural Engineers in a multi-discipline environment to manage design responsibilities and to resolve design related issues associated with the project. * Your role * Produce 3D models in Revit or Advanced Steel or Smartplant 3D. Generate 2D drawings from 3D model. * Prepare the 2D drawings using AutoCAD or Microstation. * Develop the 2D drawings of structure/foundation plans, sections, elevations as per engineer design sketches. Develop the details as per engineer design. * Prepare the material take-off from 3D models and/or drawings. * Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts. * Other duties as applicable. ## About you * College certification or BS (preferred but not required) in Civil Engineering specialized on structural engineering. * 5 to 10 years of design and drafting experience in Structural Engineering. * Experience in 2D and 3D designs for concrete foundation, concrete structure, steel structure with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or Smartplant 3D. * Excellent communication skills in French, ability to maintain confidential information critical. * Ability to work independently and collaboration with other disciplines. ## Rewards & benefits Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
