If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary. ## Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Design Quality Engineer l** ocated in Guadalajara, **North Campus.** Reporting to the **Design Quality Manager** the**Design Quality Engineer** is responsible for develops, implements, coordinates, and performs Design Quality Assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products. **What a typical day looks like:** * Lead quality activities throughout NPI, including pilot builds per week when required. * Collect, research, evaluate, and present information on production capabilities, manufacturing issues, and new product design. * Develop and update the Design Quality Assurance Program, defining control areas and operational procedures. * Facilitate and lead cross-functional (CFT) meetings to establish production plans and engineering deliverables. * Interface directly with customers on technical/quality topics, improvement initiatives, and audits. * Manage customer audits, internal audits, and compliance/regulatory audits. * Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective actions for design and manufacturing issues. * Interpret control plans, FMEAs, build plans, and develop inspection plans for NPIs. * Collaborate with suppliers to address component quality and supply chain issues. * Particpates and mananges the Design Site Corrective Action process. * Visits and confers with representatives of material and component vendors to obtain information related to supply quality. * Co
