Extensive experience in the design of mission-critical facilities, In-depth knowledge of complex electrical, mechanical, life safety, and control systems, command of national and local building codes, Proven ability in managing relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary design teams in a professional, fast-paced environment, University Degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering

Iron Mountain Data Centres is seeking a skilled and motivated **Design Manager** to join our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Design and Construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end design delivery of data centre construction projects, including new builds, phased expansions, and operational upgrades. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with external consultants to ensure our facilities meet world-class standards while identifying critical risks and opportunities. Our Design and Construction team is a collaborative, multidisciplinary group of experts dedicated to delivering high-performance infrastructure across key European markets like London, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Frankfurt. **What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)** In this role, you will: * Lead and direct third-party design consultants to deliver mission-critical data centre projects that strictly adhere to Iron Mountain global standards and project specifications. * Collaborate with internal construction, finance, sales, and operations
