In this role, you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives that affect producibility and cost by executing engineering cost reduction projects across Defense and Systems core products in support of the D&S cost initiative. Your activities will contribute to the redesign for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost of products, solutions and systems across the T700 and T408 product lines. In this role, you will identify/integrate/develop existing and new processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within your functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business initiative. # **Job Description** _**Roles and Responsibilities**_ * Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. * Develop Business case for assigned projects and solicit product line support. Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures. * Collaborate with others to solve issues. Exchange technical knowledge to personnel supporting the assigned project. Consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters; may be required to lead a junior team. * Prepare and present technical data to internal customers * Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team
