What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 5+ years of Automotive industry experience with design of Chassis Subframes/Cradles and Engine Mounts from concept to mass production, 5+ years of Experience using 3-D modeling software CATIA V6/3D Experience, Experience with performing detailed tolerance stack-ups, Experience with bolt torque calculations, Experience with basic linear-static FEA, understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing), understanding of DFA (Design for Assembly), written and verbal communication skills, Proficiency in MS office
Nice to Have
Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing specialties, CATIA V5 experience, Experience with coordination of project work with Global/offshore teams

Create part specification requirements and BOM
Negotiate with surrounding component business units and suppliers
