Moog in Orrville, OH is a global designer and manufacturer of high performance hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical (EM) actuators for nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers, as well as for some of the most demanding industrial applications. Our naval products comply with stringent qualification requirements such as shock, vibration, low acoustic signature, and seawater corrosion resistance, while our industrial products are often designed comply with API, ATEX, or other customer specific requirements. Many of our applications are mission or safety critical. Moog Orrville is looking for a Design Engineer in the Design Engineering group. You will report to the Engineering Section Head. In this role, you will play a key part in the design process for new product development of hardware used on military and commercial vehicles and equipment. Currently, most work for the Design Engineering group in Orrville is in the development of hydraulic actuation equipment for US Navy nuclear submarines with a growing need for electromechanical actuation solutions. Our products are generally unique for each customer and therefore most new applications require a special, tailored design. This enables you to take part in all steps of the design process – from concept design through detailed analysis and de
