Must Have
degree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline, Minimum of one year’s relevant engineering experience in a design/development/manufacturing environment (industrial placement year is acceptable), Experience of developing products in a 3D CAD environment and producing detailed 2D drawings, Working knowledge of relevant Microsoft Office packages (e. g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Nice to Have
Knowledge of industrial vehicles and integrated control systems, Working knowledge with PLM and MRP systems, Siemens NX
What You'll Do.
design maintenance of current product lines
supporting implementation of new product introductions
Providing technical support to production
and procurement departments in the resolution of product design/specification issues
Supporting new product introductions and troubleshooting integrated control systems
Participating in product design and quality reviews
Working in a 3D CAD environment to develop engineering designs
producing drawings and bills of materials
Liaising with suppliers to define and select optimum components/specifications
Managing multiple product changes simultaneously from initial stage through to production implementation
Coordination of design tasks with offshore resources
Conducting Peer Reviews of Engineering Change Orders
