Full Job Description
At Higgsfield AI https://higgsfield.ai?utm_source=chatgpt.com, we’re building creative tools for the next generation of storytelling. We believe AI will fundamentally change how films, videos, images, and interactive experiences are created — not by replacing creativity, but by giving creators entirely new creative leverage. Our products help people generate cinematic visuals, explore impossible ideas, and build content workflows that previously required entire teams. We’re a fast-moving, product-obsessed team operating at the intersection of AI, design, and engineering. We prototype aggressively, ship fast, and care deeply about craft. We’re looking for a Design Engineer who loves turning ambitious ideas into polished product experiences. ABOUT THE ROLE This role sits at the intersection of design and engineering. You’ll work closely with founders, designers, and engineers to shape how creative AI products feel — from early interaction concepts to polished production interfaces. You should care equally about: - beautiful visual systems - fast, expressive interactions - clean, scalable front-end architecture - motion, detail, and usability - shipping quickly without sacrificing quality WHAT YOU’LL DO - Design and build high-quality product experiences for AI-powered creative tools - Translate complex generative workflows into interfaces that feel intuitive and alive - Prototype new concepts rapidly to explore interaction patterns and validate ideas - Build polished production interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling - Craft fluid animations, transitions, and micro-interactions that elevate the product experience - Collaborate closely with product, ML, and engineering teams to push ideas from concept to shipped product - Contribute to scalable design systems, reusable components, and UI primitives YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF - You naturally operate between design and engineering - You’re highly fluent in React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and modern front
