Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Define and lead the design vision for the provider EHR experience, ensuring seamless workflows across scheduling, clinical documentation, telehealth, billing, and patient engagement, while embedding AI-first principles into core product interactions. Manage, grow, and mentor a high-performing design team, setting a strong craft standard while enabling designers to operate effectively in complex, high-stakes product areas. Act as a hands-on design leader (player-coach), owning key strategic initiatives and directly shaping critical AI-powered features and workflows. Ensure end-to-end coherence across provider and patient experiences, aligning marketplace, onboarding, and care delivery flows into a unified system. Prototype and iterate rapidly using modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, MagicPatterns), translating concepts into testable experiences and guiding productization decisions with engineering partners. Lead user research efforts by engaging directly with providers to validate assumptions, refine workflows, and ensure real-world usability and impact. Contribute to the evolution of the design system and team practices, sharing AI-driven workflows, patterns, and design standards across the organization. Requirements: 5+ years of experience leading design teams on complex B2B SaaS platforms with strong consumer-grade UX expectations. Proven experience in high-growth or mature product environments, with the ability to scale design teams and establish strong operating models. Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with a track record of influencing product and engineering strategy through design vision and systems thinking. Experience designing AI-native or AI-augmented product experiences, with an understanding of how AI reshapes workflows rather than just adding features.
