What You'll Achieve.
Maintain and improve the quality of project engineering processes, products, and services; Ensure alignment with company objectives and industry standards; Enhance skills, knowledge, and competencies of project engineering staff; Support engineering and project execution; Measure the effectiveness and efficiency of project delivery and engineering processes; Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement; Communicate performance metrics, status updates, and insights to senior management; Address performance gaps and optimize processes
Industry & Context.
Problem-solving and root-cause analysis; Helpful for addressing quality issues, performance gaps, process inefficiencies, and corrective action planning; interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel up to 15% to various job site locations, trade shows, and offices, Ability to walk, kneel, crouch and balance frequently, Ability to climb, ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps, etc., using feet, legs and/or hands and arms frequently, Ability to lift, push or pull up to 75lbs occasionally, Ability to sit/stand frequently for long and/or intermittent periods of time, Time spent between general office environment and active construction site visits, Time spent on active job sites includes subject to noise, being in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical power and control systems, and high places, Personal Protective Equipment required at active job sites
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of relevant engineering experience, Experience with Engineering Software Tools, Programming skills and experience are expected for automation, reporting, and engineering process support, Proficient parametric and horizontal‑style 3D modeling skills are expected to support engineering tools, standards, and libraries, Experience working with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Ability to self-motivate, interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills, Ability to travel, Ability to perform essential functions of the job
Nice to Have
Material Handling and Conveyor experience preferred, Valid driver’s license and able to rent a car without a co-renter, Excellent communication skills, leadership and team management capabilities, Proficiency in conflict resolution, Effective time management and organizational skills, Adaptability and learning agility, Interpersonal skills, Strategic thinker, Resilience and persistence, Customer-centric mindset
What You'll Do.
Supporting and driving Quality
Training & Documentation
Engineering Standards & Processes
and Metrics within the engineering department
Develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve the quality of project engineering processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Design and execute comprehensive training programs for project engineering staff
Develop and maintain detailed documentation
and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Provide guidance and support to engineers in following established procedures and best practices
Establish a culture of continuous improvement and mechanisms to promote mentoring of associates
Support the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
Analyze data and metrics to identify trends
and areas for improvement
Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics
Work closely with engineering teams to develop action plans and initiatives to address performance gaps and optimize processes
Create and regularly review and update Parts Library
Support engineering by providing expertise
and guidance for a range of engineering software tools
Foster effective communication of innovative concepts and serve as a catalyst for driving transformative change
Process improvement and quality management
Experience building quality controls into engineering processes
