Must Have
Bachelor of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or other technical degree, 3+ years of full-time aerospace industry experience within Avionics, Electrical, Software, Cabin Systems, Inflight Entertainment Systems, Connectivity systems or Electro-Magnetic Effects
Nice to Have
Senior (Level 4): 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, 1+ years of experience in a role which required knowledge of MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461, DO-160, DO-178, IEC-61000, and / or FCC part 15, 1+ years of experience leading an integrated product team of engineers, supplier management and quality specialists, and certification experts through the design and delivery of certified hardware
What You'll Do.
Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Analyze and translate requirements into system
hardware and software designs and interface specifications
Test and validate hardware/software to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Perform laboratory integration testing
Participate in airplane ground and flight tests
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to airlines and modification sites
Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Solve problems and provide support for hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Research innovative technologies for potential application to company business needs

Design and Analysis Engineer (Electronic Sys Design & Analy) **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services Commercial Modifications is currently seeking **Mid-level** and **Senior** Cabin System **Engineers** to become part of our team in Long Beach, California. As a Cabin Systems Engineer, you will work with customers to develop electronic and electrical system requirements, analyzing and translating those requirements into system architecture, hardware / software designs and interface specifications. You will also test and validate to ensure the system designs meet operational and functional requirements across the full breadth of Boeing Commercial aircraft. **This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
