Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Develop, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and database routines supporting analytics, reporting, and data integration processes. Create and improve high-performance SQL queries for dashboards, KPIs, management reports, and business intelligence solutions. Design, implement, and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data. Collaborate with business and BI teams to gather requirements, analyze scenarios, and propose effective technical solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance issues, ensuring system reliability and responsiveness. Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and availability across analytical environments. Support ongoing maintenance, incident resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives related to database and BI operations. Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and database governance best practices. Requirements: Proven experience working with Microsoft SQL Server in both development and database management environments. Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including complex query development and data manipulation operations such as SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE. Experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing stored procedures, scalar functions, and table-valued functions. Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling concepts for Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse environments, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema. Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data integration workflows. Knowledge of importing, exporting, and processing structured data files such as CSV, XLS, TXT, and similar formats. Experience with database performance optimization, including execution plan analysis, indexing strategies, query tuning, and partitioning techniques.
