What You'll Achieve.
Support the Security Controller in meeting the HMG requirements; Exercise the day-to-day responsibility of all aspects of protective security; Ensuring that the company’s officers, directors, and employees comply with the provisions of the company’s Government Security Policies and Special Security Agreement; Ensure all access to sensitive assets are recorded and controlled, to meet the requirements of the “need-to-know” principle; Ensure employees remain compliant with the conditions of their security clearance obligations via the appropriate ‘aftercare’ process; Ensure security requirements are reflected in the company’s processes, as appropriate; Manage security of information as defined in the Security manual
Industry & Context.
Flexibility to travel within the UK, full driving license, Ability & desire to obtain and maintain the required level of security clearance, Occasional additional responsibility for other sites in the I&C UK offices, Infrequent travel to those sites, British Citizen, Ability to obtain and maintain the required level of security clearance, Must be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years, Must be able to obtain SC clearance, Must be able to obtain DV clearance, Must be able to obtain the appropriate level of security clearance
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
British Citizen, Capable of achieving the required level of security clearance, Must be capable of interpreting the requirements of the Security and Personnel Controllers, An understanding of the risks and subsequent impact to the business of failing to comply fully with appropriate guidelines, policy or legislation.
Nice to Have
A working knowledge of Gov Stan 007 and security policy framework is desirable, Experience of CCTV would be beneficial

Assist with administration and management of Guards
Assist with administration and management of NPSA furniture
Assist with administration and management of keys
Assist with administration and management of locks
Assist with administration and management of combinations changes
Assist with administration and management of logs
Assist with administration and management of Disposal of assets
Assist with administration and management of AACS
Assist with administration and management of CCTV
Assist with administration and management of IDS
Assist with administration and management of Building and walls
Assist with administration and management of area security
Assist with administration and management of routines
Assist with final BPSS checks
Approve access to areas
Process visitor requests
Process IVCO requests
Organise regular combination changes
Perform Document checks
Book in/ out of asset
Create movement / transport plans
Liaise with the authority
Administer supply chain checks
Address electronic security issues
Liaise with Personnel
Address criminal activity
Liaise with authority
Perform investigation
Ensure all access to sensitive assets are recorded
Ensure all access to sensitive assets are controlled
Destroy obsolete assets
Instigate spot checks
Ensure employees remain compliant with security clearance obligations
Represent the business at off-site briefings
Represent the business at meetings
Represent the business at training sessions
Disseminate information to relevant audiences
Ensure security requirements are reflected in company processes
