About the Role: Hello Heart is looking for a Deputy General Counsel, Product to provide pragmatic, strategic, and scalable legal guidance across our product portfolio, including our Food and Drug Administration-cleared heart monitor, mobile app, AI-powered health insights, and AI medication assistant. Reporting into our General Counsel, you will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, Data Science, Sale, Client Support and Compliance teams to navigate complex regulatory requirements, shape product features, support commercial transactions and support responsible AI development. You will also help address emerging legal needs as Hello Heart continues to grow. Responsibilities: Advise Product and Engineering teams on legal implications of product features, including Food and Drug Administration regulated products, AI and machine learning-driven health insight functionality, consumer protection considerations, contractual obligations, and litigation risk associated with product decisions. Provide legal guidance on data privacy, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, corporate practice of medicine, consumer protection, and related risks associated with product design and operations.
