Must Have

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, Two years experience in civil rights compliance, Title IX administration, higher education administration, investigations, or a closely related field, Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, Ability to collaborate across diverse populations and functions, Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment requiring sound judgment

Nice to Have

Mental health licensure (LPC, LMSW, LCSW, etc.), Experience in counseling, crisis response, or supporting individuals experiencing hardship, Familiarity with Title IX, Title VII, VAWA, FERPA, ADA, and related policies, Experience using case-management or civil-rights tracking systems

What You'll Do.

Conducting trauma-informed intake meetings as the initial point of contact for students

and third parties regarding civil rights matters

Assessing immediate needs

implementing and documenting supportive measures—including academic and workplace accommodations

Providing guidance about rights

and resolution processes

Ensuring compliance with civil rights policies and procedures

Helping restore equal access to educational or employment environments

Supporting the campus community through neutral process education

confidential records in the institutional case-management system

Participating in committees such as the CARE Team

Sexual Assault Response Team (SART)

and Domestic Violence/High-Risk Threat (DVHRT) network

Coordinating logistical and supportive service functions

Promoting trauma-informed

equity-minded practices across support and response systems

Assisting with development and delivery of campus education related to civil rights processes

student and employee wellbeing

and violence prevention

Maintaining continuous professional development related to civil rights regulations

Collaborating with a variety of partners to coordinate support services and eliminate roadblocks

Referring students to resources

Providing daily case consultation and guidance

Supporting onboarding and training initiatives for staff involved in civil rights

Maintaining confidential case records and preparing de-identified aggregate data for reporting

Sharing trends and risk indicators with the Civil Rights/Title IX Coordinator

Following member intake/outtake

and recordkeeping requirements

Contributing to assessments and reports related to community wellbeing

Ability to collaborate across diverse populations and functions; Participate in committees such as the CARE Team, Title IX Committee, Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), and Domestic Violence/High-Risk Threat (DVHRT) network; Coordinate logistical and supportive service functions with divisional leadership; Collaborates with a variety of partners to coordinate support services and eliminate roadblocks; Provide daily case consultation and guidance to ensure consistent, trauma-informed service delivery; Support onboarding and training initiatives for staff involved in civil rights, Title IX, or CARE functions

Communication Scope

Demonstrated communication skills; Providing guidance about rights, resources, and resolution processes; Neutral process education; Assisting Civil Rights/Title IX Coordinator with development and delivery of campus education
