We’re looking for a Deputy Chief Accountant to support the Chief Accountant in overseeing day‑to‑day accounting activities and financial closing processes. The position is a maternity cover. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage and control the company’s accounting activities in compliance with Bulgarian legislation, IFRS, and Pluxee Group standards * Lead and coordinate the accounting closing process (monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual) * Review, analyze, and validate accounting data and balances * Prepare accounting reports and support the preparation of Annual Financial Statements * Oversee accounting for revenues and expenses, bank transactions, customers and suppliers, fixed assets, inventories, and reconciliations * Prepare and validate VAT returns, tax returns, financial statements, and statutory statistical reports * Act as a point of contact for external institutions and partners, including NRA, BNB, NSI, auditors, banks, lawyers, and ERP/Navision consultants * Monitor task execution within the accounting team and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements **Requirements:** * University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * In-depth knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax legislation * Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience *
