Full Job Description

**[What the role is]** [LTA-T&ID] DEPUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGER, EV REGULATIONS (LICENSING) **[What you will be working on]** You will be part of the National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC) under LTA’s Technology and Industry Development Group. The NEVC facilitates EV adoption through efforts to spearhead the regulation and deployment of EV charging systems in Singapore. You will play an integral role in the team developing regulatory policies and framework to **ensure the** **safety, reliability and accessibility of EV charging** in Singapore. This will include **reviewing and administering the licensing regime for EV charging operators** – a key policy tool to shape the development of the EV charging industry – as part of the division’s overall work in implementing regulations under the Electric Vehicles Charging Act (EVCA). Your day-to-day work will involve **ensuring that operators comply with the conditions of licensing by leveraging real-time data on EV charging** , and **taking appropriate action against any non-compliance**. You will also have the opportunity to introduce technology (e.g. AI) and tools that can streamline work processes to improve business-friendliness and productivity. **[What we are looking for]** * Knowledge in regulatory policies and framework * Be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; you may be required to work on multiple initiatives in the same period * Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for details * Experience in regulatory policy or operations, such as regulating licensees or use of banned products. * Comfortable with analysing datasets and tracking key indicators to provide robust analysis and recommendations for decision making * Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational needs, and recommend effective and efficient use of regulatory resources * Able to work collaboratively in a cross functional team, and with various stakeholders such as companies and other government agencies * Int
