What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Fluent in Taiwanese, Mandarin, and English, 3-5+ years defense, national security, military operations, or related technical field, Proven ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, high-stakes environments, Highly organized with demonstrated project management skills, Experience working directly with foreign military partners, Interpersonal skills with proven ability to build trust across cultures, Experience translating technical concepts into operational requirements, Based in Taiwan full-time, Ability to travel both internationally and domestically (~35-50%)
Nice to Have
Prior US military experience, Ability to travel to Taiwan without visa restrictions, Experience living and working in Taiwan or Indo-Pacific region, Familiarity with US export control regulations, Technical background in maritime systems, undersea warfare, sensors, autonomy

ABOUT THE JOB As our next Deployment Operations Lead on the Maritime team, you are Anduril’s presence on the ground across Taiwan. You are responsible for delivering, sustaining, and growing a deployed maritime defense capability that meets out customers’s mission requirements and exceeds their expectations. You fulfill this responsibility through rigorous operational execution, cultural fluency, and proactive communication across the time zone difference between the USA and Taiwan. You feel ownership over all assets and technologies deployed to your customer, and ensure that the system of systems are deployed to where they need it most. You represent Anduril to our in-country partners, including military counterparts, local US forces, and INDOPACOM stakeholders, to build their confidence and trust through your professionalism, reliability, and commitment to excellence. You also represent our customers back to Anduril, communicating user feedback, operational lessons, and evolving requirements to continuously improve our product. You bridge cultures, time zones, and ways of working with judgment, autonomy, and initiative that operating a half day ahead of your home office demands.
