Amazon is seeking a business-oriented Deployment Execution Engineer to deliver complex logistics process automation and storage initiatives for the continued expansion of our UK fulfilment network. Ideal candidates will have exposure to automation deployments combined with a strong technical problem-solving ability. The role requires a holistic view of all aspects of an Amazon Warehouse (Fulfilment Centre, Inbound Cross-Dock, Sortation Centre or Distribution Centre) while focusing on its automation technologies and storage solutions. This person will be responsible for evaluating and delivering state-of-the-art material handling systems and robotic innovations while coordinating internal teams and external contractors to effectively launch new automated buildings and conduct expansions in existing sites. The role will be based in the United Kingdom with 60% of time traveling mainly around the country and with potential requirements in the EU.
