What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Technical Consulting, Proven track record of deploying large-scale distributed databases or data intensive applications, Proficiency in at least two major languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or C#), Deep understanding of NoSQL concepts, distributed systems, and SQL-based query languages (N1QL), Comfortable navigating Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift), and networking (VPCs, DNS, load balancing, security)
Nice to Have
Vector Search and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns for modern AI applications, Experience with Couchbase Server, Capella (DBaaS), and Mobile products
