Full Job Description
Join our high-end Periodontial practice as our Patient Care Coordinator, where you will play a key role in enhancing the patient experience. You will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing communications between patients and dental staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of front office activities. This is a role for a dental administrative professional - someone whose career is and will be in this field. Responsibilities include: * Greeting patients and managing patient check-ins and check-outs * Scheduling and confirming appointments; answering phone calls and emails * Ensuring the office runs seamlessly by monitoring the schedule and effectively communicating with the team * Maintaining a productive doctor/hygiene schedule * Mailing out thank you cards to referring doctors for new patients * Ensuring that we have the most recent X-rays on file for patients, updating health histories every 3 years * Scanning and filing documents; generating consent and post-op forms for all surgical procedures You will have a stable weekday schedule; your hours will never be cut and you will neve have to work weekends! Monday - Thursday 7:45 to 4:30 (1 hour lunch), Friday 7:45-3:30 (no lunch) Offering $30 - $35 per hour based on experience, plus a full benefits package. **Requirements** \- Previous experience working in a dental practice; Perio or Oral Surgery experience is a plus. \- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills \- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail \- Familiarity with dental office management software and insurance processes \- Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially #IND **Benefits** * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance * Pay: $30 - $35 per hour
