Must Have
Current Dental Assistant License, Registration, Certification as required by state, Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state, Current CPR or BLS certificate, 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant, Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry, Demonstrate and provide instruction on proper sterilization and infection control techniques, Maintain and update annual CE requirement as specified by state, State Certification in expanded functions as required by state
What You'll Do.
Assist with direction to DA office team
Assist doctors during treatment procedures
Breakdown operatory rooms
Complete sterilization processes
Follow maintenance schedules
Tray and operatory set-up
Support patient charting
Train others to execute patient handoffs
Follow OSHA regulations
Take dental radiographs
Provide patients with instructions
Educate patients on oral hygiene
Complete denture soft relines
Manufacture temporary crowns
Monitor and aid in management of laboratory cases
Perform quality intraoral health scan
Take quality impressions
Perform additional expanded functions
Ensure emergency kits are maintained
Order and maintain supplies
Perform various office tasks

Collaborate with doctors and hygienists; Train others on patient flow

Provide patients with instructions; Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies; Articulate and teach clear aligner process
