What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current Dental Assistant License, Registration, Certification as required by state, Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state, Current CPR or BLS certificate, 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant, Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry, Demonstrate and provide instruction on proper sterilization and infection control techniques, Maintain and update annual CE requirement as specified by state, State Certification in expanded functions as required by state
What You'll Do.
Assist with direction to DA office team
Assist doctors during treatment procedures
Breakdown operatory rooms
Complete sterilization processes for equipment
Follow maintenance schedules for waterlines/suction
Tray and operatory set-up
Support patient charting
Train others to execute patient handoffs
Monitor and aid in management of laboratory cases
Perform quality intraoral health scan
Take dental radiographs
Provide patients with instructions for oral care
Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies
Complete denture soft relines
Manufacture temporary crowns
Order and maintain supplies
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Assist with the direction to DA office team throughout the day; Ensures all staff is properly trained and compliant on the process; Ability to train others to execute patient handoffs
Communication Scope
Ability to articulate and teach clear aligner process
