What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Current Dental Assistant License, Registration, Certification as required by state, Radiology (x-ray) certification as required by state, Current CPR or BLS certificate, 2+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant, Proficient at chairside assisting/four-handed dentistry, Demonstrate and provide instruction on proper sterilization and infection control techniques, Maintain and update annual CE requirement as specified by state, State Certification in expanded functions as required by state

Assist with direction to DA office team
Assist doctors during treatment procedures
Breakdown operatory rooms
Complete sterilization processes for equipment
Follow maintenance schedules for waterlines
Tray and operatory set-up
Support patient charting
Train others to execute patient handoffs
Follow OSHA regulations
Take dental radiographs
Provide patients with instructions
Educate patients on oral hygiene
Complete denture soft relines
Manufactures temporary crowns
Monitor laboratory cases
Perform intraoral health scan
Take quality impressions
Perform additional expanded functions
Ensures emergency kits maintained
Order and maintain supplies

We offer:** * A generous benefits package that includes paid time off, health, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plan with match _*_ * Career development and growth opportunities with our best-in-class training program to support you at every stage of your career * A fun and supportive culture that encourages collaboration and innovation * Free Continuing Education (CE) through TAG U **How You’ll Make a Difference** As an**Expanded Functions Dental Assistant** , you will perform daily duties to help create lasting impressions and build trust and loyalty with patients. * Assist with the direction to DA office team throughout the day to maintain productive patient flow. * Assist the doctors during a variety of treatment procedures. * Breakdown operatory rooms for doctors and hygienists. * Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory and ensures all staff is properly trained and compliant on the process. * Follow maintenance schedules for flushing waterlines/suction lines, and/or waterline testing, autoclave, and compressor on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. * Tray and operatory set-up for all procedures. * Support patient charting for doctors at a proficient level. * Ability to train others to execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow within the practice. * Follow OSHA regulations and Aspen safety requirements, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines. * Take dental radiographs (X-rays). * Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures. * Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health. * Complete denture
