What They're Looking For.
Must Have
12–18+ years of experience in technology or operations delivery, at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing programs of significant scale and complexity (e. g. , Delivery Manager, Technical Lead, Scrum Master), Proven track record delivering cross-functional program in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments — ideally including at least one high-growth startup or startup-within-enterprise context, In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies, familiarity with modern product engineering, Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex technical and organizational challenges, Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Nice to Have
experience in scaled agile frameworks (SAFe), cloud-native development (AWS/Azure), CI/CD, DevSecOps practices
What You'll Do.
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of product engineering projects
ensuring timely releases and adherence to quality standards
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning
and backlog grooming) to keep teams focused
Translate product roadmaps
and requirements into actionable technical delivery plans
or escalate roadblocks (technical
or dependencies) that hinder development velocity
Work closely with Product Managers
and DevOps teams to ensure seamless product development
Proactively identify potential risks and dependencies across squads
developing mitigation strategies to protect delivery timelines
Enforce engineering best practices
including code quality
and continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines
Mentor and inspire multidisciplinary teams
fostering accountability
and a culture of continuous improvement
Provide transparency into delivery progress
and project risks to leadership and stakeholders
Go beyond just producing code toward delivering measurable business value and user outcomes
Act as the "engineers' partner
" facilitating technical decisions rather than just managing timelines
Partner with Aptia's Data CoE and IA CoE to integrate AI capabilities into live pensions and benefits administration products
