A division of Pattison Food Group Ltd., Save-On-Foods is B.C.’s Most Loved Brand and certified a Great Place to Work®. **We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods location in Parksville, BC.** **Open Weekend Availability is preferred.** **You will be responsible for:** * Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service. * Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc. * Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department. * Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road. * Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness. * Other duties as assigned. **You have:** * A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC * A clean driver’s abstract. * A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain. * Experience in a customer service-related role. * A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude. * Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both days and evenings. * Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones. **Here are some of the perks we have to offer** : * $18.00 per hour. * Get paid every Friday! * Exclusive team member offers and discounts. * Benefits & pension eligibility. * Wellness and team member assistance program. * Educational reimbursement & scholarship opportunities. * Opportunities to learn and grow.
