The Brief

Ensure the timely delivery of products. Communicate statuses and delivery plans to Customer Service Representatives and the Delivery Assurance Manager”

What You'll Achieve.

Ensuring the timely delivery of products; Update Horse blanket Past due + 4 weeks (need to eventually get out 8 weeks); Responsible for reducing work orders, cut without a cut slip and splitting work orders; Responsible for putting jobs on hold; Updating Coverage Files and LOBs; Updating BP File/SPI File (Monthly Sales)- Weekly; Updating GTG File daily with root cause and current cause; Identify critical parts and make sure they are identified on the shop floor; Going out on the shop floor touching jobs and working with supervisors and leads to ensure jobs are moving; Responsible for getting timelines for critical parts when requested by the CSR team; Identify bottlenecks and issues and bringing them up to daily OBEYA; DELCO will hand internal company calls along with updating Lean DNA; Scrap and Replace Process for Internal Customers

Eligibility Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud, Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection, May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds

Must Have

Associate's degree (A. A. ) or equivalent from two-year college in business, engineering, or materials management required with a minimum of 4 years’ customer service experience in aerospace manufacturing or closely related industry, High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years’ customer service experience in aerospace manufacturing or closely related industry, Quality Communication, Interpretation of information furnished orally, written, and/or diagram form, Time Management -well organized, possesses the ability to prioritize, maintain focus and follows through to end of projects, Customer relationship building, Works effectively independently and in a team environment, Capable of Practical Problem Solving and Decision Making using analytical skills, Use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, Effectively presents information, responds to questions in one-on-one and group environments, Proven understanding of process flows, lead-times and lean principles in a manufacturing environment, Knowledge of all Production Control functions, Ability to learn each product line’s capabilities and limitations, Technical skills and understanding of machinery and shop floor terminology

Nice to Have

Background in manufacturing environment and Bachelor's degree preferred, Experience with Access software is desired

What You'll Do.

Ensure the timely delivery of products

Communicate statuses and delivery plans to Customer Service Representatives and the Delivery Assurance Manager

Coordinate and direct internal and external customer orders through the manufacturing process

Respond to delivery related or product related inquiries

Identify delivery risks

barriers and delivery status

Identify obstacles early and work to resolve impediments

Identify and participate in resolution of process flow routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Maintain delivery schedules to ensure timely completion

Communicate clear and timely status through tools to upstream customers

Ensure stable workflow of orders

Schedule production using site scheduling tools

Ensure timely release and correct flow of production orders

Update Horse blanket Past due + 4 weeks

Identify critical parts and make sure they are identified on the shop floor

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Main point of contact for internal customers; Daily engagement with the Delivery Assurance Manager; Direct communication with plant operations, shipping, and quality; Work closely with site operations; Direct communication with the Master Schedulers, Materials Managers and Central Planning Manager; Work closely with a master scheduler; Participate in cross-functional discussion in delivery clinics; Work with supervisors and leads on the shop floor

Quality Communication; Interpretation of information furnished orally, written, and/or diagram form; Effectively presents information; Responds to questions in one-on-one and group environments
