Industry & Context.
Night & Weekend Shifts Required, Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently, and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects., Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet with our without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of vision., Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions., Exposure to dust, noise, equipment movement hazards, and electrical shock on a daily basis., Occasional exposure to temperature extremes and cleaning chemicals/solvents., Fast paced work environment., Pre employment drug screen required

Must Have
Must be able to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated write identifying request supplies orally or in writing, Must be able to solve arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals and percentages, Six months or less of similar or related work experience
What You'll Do.
Handling food in a safe manner
Ensuring the work area is always clean and neat
Running the department registers and receiving payments
Ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous
and efficient customer service
efficient and friendly customer service
Smiling and greeting customers in a friendly manner
Learning customers’ names and addressing them by name whenever possible
Assisting customers by escorting them to products
loading/unloading heavy items
and passing along suggestions or requests
Answering the telephone promptly and providing friendly
Taking customer orders at the delicatessen counter
Working with co-workers as a team
Reviewing orders for the day
Understanding and practicing proper sanitation procedures
Reviewing the status and appearance of food for freshness
Ensuring an adequate food supply is ready and on hand
Developing or following a production list
Anticipating product needs for the department
and replenishing product as necessary
and reviewing invoices
Removing trash in a timely manner
Maintaining strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress
Adhering to company policies and individual store guidelines
Reporting to work when scheduled and on time
