What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in business, minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role, Completion of Public Health Food Handler certification, Smart Serve, and Level A First Aid & Basic CPR, or a commitment to obtain all required certifications within six months of hire, Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively managing competing priorities while maintaining high performance standards, Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by effectively managing changing priorities while maintaining performance results, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in team engagement and development, Comfort learning and working with both manual and automated systems, along with experience using various computer software applications, Thrive in a hands-on setting that involves extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, and work that may be performed in cooler, freezer, and outdoor conditions, Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

What You'll Do.
Deliver outstanding customer service
supporting Farm Boy’s vision of the best fresh shopping experience
Collaborate with the Store Manager and Retail Specialist to execute strategies that drive performance and achieve departmental goals and business objectives
Build a culture of trust and engagement through one-on-one coaching and regular team huddles
Develop and lead a high-performance team by overseeing recruitment
and ongoing development
Promote and communicate company policies and procedures
Oversee departmental operations and business deliverables
including inventory management
product quality and rotation
and payroll functions
Participate in store coverage rotations as Manager on Duty
including opening and closing duties and supporting emergency alarm response when required
Ensure adherence to all Safe Food Handling and Health & Safety policies
and regulatory requirements
Contribute to overall store success by undertaking additional responsibilities as required
