The Limerick Defect/Integration team are seeking an motivated, enthusiastic engineer to join their group. The candidate must be curious, agile and flexible, with excellent problem solving and data analysis skills. A sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple tasks & projects simultaneously is also a must. The Defect Integration role is exciting and dynamic with huge potential for learning across all fab areas and functions. This is an exciting time for the Limerick Fab as we are expanding our Wafer Fab by 2X and will increase output by 3X by 2026. **Job Description:** _Layer (Module) Ownership:_ * Drive defect reduction/yield improvement projects for your layers * Identify top pareto items impacting defect density * Identify improvements and collaborate with the workcentres to drive to completion * Use SPC (Statistical Process Control) to monitor and control inline defects throughout the product lifecycle * Maintain appropriate control limits to be able to flag genuine issues, while preventing false OOCs. * Excursion detection, fast response and containment, and prevention * Inspection recipe maintenance and improvement to ensure low nuisance detection and high capture rate of defects of interest **Required Skills
