Must Have
High school diploma or equivalency certificate, 1+ years of professional work experience in a factory/production or the completion of a machining certification
Nice to Have
2+ years of deburr experience using various deburr techniques using manual and automated equipment, Experience working in a machine shop, Basic blueprint reading, Knowledge of CNC machining, Experience using various measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, profilometers, and borescopes
What You'll Do.
Interpret drawings per ASME Y14.5-2009 standard
Deburr and process machined valve components
Chase machine cut threads to size
Polish tight tolerance surface finishes
Inspect with profilometer
Passivate using citric passivation process
Assist with material inventory
Prep for machining processes
Operate a mass finishing barrel tumbler
Meet expectations for productivity
Maintain a clean work environment
Alert management when production is inhibited
Provide continuous ideas for process improvements
