Ability to read and match numbers and letters quickly and accurately, mathematical skills
Nice to Have
Previous work experience in a similar warehouse environment, Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
What You'll Do.
Perform one or more DC outbound functions
Locate and pull merchandise
Place merchandise in tote
Mark the tote by customer number
Consolidate and pack all stock order merchandise
Itemize all products not shipped
Make sure all freight bills are dated
Operate handheld computers
Check items off of the freight bill
Load trucks quickly and accurately
Tie and secure freight
Keep picking zones supplied
Repair totes as needed
Start printers as necessary
Sort tickets and labels
Operate equipment for any outbound functions
Keep the work area neat and clean
Dispose of cardboard and trash properly
Maintain safety standards while operating
Identify unsafe practices and situations
