What You'll Do.
Fabricate cut-to-length

**Job Posting:** **Starting pay is $26.00/hr with a Monday through Friday 6:00 AM day shift schedule.** As a **DC Fabrication Technician,** you’ll be hands-on in creating high-quality, finished pipe that directly supports customer projects and keeps operations moving. This is a skilled, essential role where **accuracy, craftsmanship, and safety truly matter**. If you enjoy working with your hands, operating machinery, and seeing tangible results from your work every day—this role offers stability, pride, and growth in a team-driven environment. **What You’ll Do** * Fabricate cut-to-length, finished-end pipe for customer orders and inventory * Work with a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, and thermoplastics * Set up and operate fabrication equipment for cutting, grooving, threading, beveling, and welding * Read blueprints, sketches, and work instructions to ensure precision and quality * Use RF scanning systems to track, move, and stage materials * Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and perform team lifts when needed * Inspect equipment daily and help identify minor maintenance or operational issues * Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe * Collaborate with teammates and communicate issues proactively **What We’re Looking For** * High school diploma or GED * 2–4 years of machine operation experience (pipe cutting or threading preferred) * Comfort reading technical drawings or work instructions * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality **Preferred (Not Required)** * Trade or technical school training, military experience, or college coursework * Forklift or powered industrial truck experience * Welding or pipe end-finishing experience _If you’re mechanically inclined and eager to learn, we’re willing to train the right person._ **Physical & Work Environment** This is an active, hands-on role: * Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day * Lifting up to 50 lbs independently; heavier
