What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of ONE (1) year of experience working in facilities and equipment, written and oral communication skills in the English language, Must be able to lift to 70lbs, US Citizenship is required, Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Public Trust

Nice to Have

Experience working at a federal facility, approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred

What You'll Do.

Engage in customer communication

Perform device set-up

Complete necessary documentation

Provide status and completion updates

Perform cabling tasks

Run copper and fiber connections

Escort vendors and customers

Perform troubleshooting tasks

Remediate issues within the datacenter

Provide updates on issues and resolution

Provide onsite 24x7/365 rotation coverage

Incident response for data center facilities services

Incident response for data center equipment services

Support performing monthly maintenance on generators

Conduct or oversee work on datacenter infrastructure systems

Perform facilities inspections

Clean areas around electrical systems

Work with customers daily

Support escorting vendors

Support determining system and rack level electrical power requirements

Support hardware placement

and removal activities

and maintain documentation

Monitor and ensure adherence to appearance and safety standards

Participate in Agile project management

Participate in a DevSecOps culture

communicate with engineers

Replace IT components in systems

Keeping an inventory of all 2000+ devices

Run cat5/cat6 and fiber cables

Deploy servers to server racks

Create and work tickets

Develop power plans for new devices

Sending out daily shift mail

Keep watch on alarms in WebControl

Correct or escalate alarms

Ensure the destruction of storage
