Overview: The Database Reliability Engineer (DRE) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of both legacy and modern data platforms. This role covers installing, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server instances (on-prem and in Azure), while also expanding into modern data ecosystems such as Databricks, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and cloud-native data lakes and warehouses. The DRE will report to Director of IT and will work closely with Engineering, Data, and Business Intelligence teams to enable seamless data delivery and platform reliability across hybrid environments.
