We are seeking a skilled **Database/Application Administrator** to manage and maintain our database and application infrastructure effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** * Administer and maintain databases and related application systems ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. * Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot database and application environments. * Implement database and application backup and recovery procedures to minimize downtime. * Manage database security, users, and access controls. * Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications. * Perform database tuning and query optimization to enhance performance. * Support migration activities including cloud migrations and database upgrades. * Create and maintain technical documentation and reports. * Participate in incident management and resolution processes. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Minimum 12 years of experience in database and application administration. * Proficient with database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server. * Experience with application servers and middleware technologies. * Strong understanding of database security, backup and recovery procedures. * Hands-on experience with cloud database services and migrations. * Good knowledge of scripting and automation tools. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international teams. * Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
