Must Have
Proven experience in a technical leadership or team lead role, Knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning, Experience with SQL Server High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, Hands-on experience with backup/recovery tools and automation scripting (PowerShell, SQL scripts), Understanding of database security, encryption, and compliance standards, Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, Communication and stakeholder management abilities, 8+ years of experience in database administration with expertise in MS SQL Server
Nice to Have
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS), Microsoft certifications such as Azure Database Administrator Associate or SQL Server certifications, Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and database automation, Exposure to monitoring tools like SQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, or third party tools
