## Responsibilities Manage PostgreSQL database clusters Excitement to work with cutting-edge technology, experiment and discover new and more efficient ways to get things done Be involved in everything related to relational (and also NoSQL) databases: design, maintenance, migrations, administration, configuration, etc. Perform audits of existing databases, figure out possible improvements and ways to implement them efficiently ## Skills Experience in Database Administration – configuration, backup/restore, replication, etc. Experience with databases of 1-10TB in size is a plus Experience in performance optimization techniques Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent Excellent Troubleshooting and Communication skills Experience with Bucardo is a plus Mandatory : Exceptional knowledge of PostgreSQL (experience with MySQL is a plus). Good to have : Experience in any one of the scripting languages (bash, python) ## Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering (computer science, information systems) 2 to 4 years hands-on experience on various relational databases with PostgreSQL as primary skillset.
