Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Associate Degree in Computer Science with 2 year experiences, Minimum 8 years of experience as DBA, Minimum 8 years in-depth knowledge and experience in database theory and design, Minimum 8 years in-depth experience in planning, implementing, administering and programming Microsoft SQL, Minimum 4 years in-depth knowledge and experience of Windows O/S, Minimum 4 years in-depth knowledge and experience of distributed computing architecture, Minimum 4 years in-depth knowledge and experience of Virtualization, Minimum six years of in-depth knowledge and experience in Transact SQL, Minimum six years of in-depth knowledge and experience in PowerShell, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Data Platform or Data Management, Active secret clearance, IAT II certification
Nice to Have
Microsoft.NET programming (C# or VB.NET) experience, MCSE certification must be current published path

## Description Job Title: Database Administrator Location: 100% Onsite @ USFF Norfolk, Virginia at a Government facility/site Clearance: Secret Program: HQ IT Support Contract Company/ Program Description: Centuria, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), has been delivering IT, Engineering, and Scientific solutions to the Federal Government since 2002. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This role will be supporting the U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFF) Headquarters (HQ) at USFF Norfolk, Virginia at a Government facility/site. As a member of their USFF Communications and Information Systems Division (N6) Support Team, you will significantly contribute to Navy Fleet Readiness and Homeland Security. The team is involved in information technology (IT) support tasks including but are not limited to Program Management support, Network Engineering support, Maritime Operations Center/Tactical Systems support, Video Teleconferencing and Audio/Visual support, Portal Management and Application Development support, Staff IT Business Process/IT Services support, Satellite Communications Planning support, Information Assurance (IA)/Certification and Accreditation support, Database Administration support, Communications Security/EKMS support, and general IT support, as well as maintenance, updating and enhancement of developed application/software. Job Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain all required security level/posture of all MS SQL Servers. • Servers must be IA compliant to the latest policies and standards (i.e. STIG, IAVA, etc.) • Document and generate report on all changes applied to MS SQL Servers. • Provide assistance in the processing and submission of C&A for MS SQL Servers. • Provide recommendation on industry best pr
