Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks a Database Administration Senior Advisor for the Tampa, FL location responsible for full lifecycle database administration including design, setup, monitoring, performance tuning, disaster recovery, cloning, migrations. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and support production databases across cloud and on-premises environments. • Collaborate on cloud-native architecture for mobile backends and microservices. • Ensure database security, integrity, and availability using user management, auditing, profiling, authentication, and encryption. • Conduct performance tuning at database, OS, and network levels. • Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies. • Participate in data modeling, logical/physical design, and application development. • Middleware and OLAP integration. • Configure databases to work with middleware, web servers, and OLAP tools • Maintain documentation in Confluence and SharePoint. • Provide 24/7 production support and log tasks in Jira and ServiceNow. • Hybrid work schedule. Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field and 3 years of experience in any database administration role.
