Full Job Description
Position Overview: As the Data Steward you will be responsible for resolving data exceptions, enforcing data governance rules, and creating test and training datasets. The Steward will use secondary research, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to make decisions on what data should enter the RxVantage database, how it interrelates with other data and how it can or cannot be used. Key duties include reviewing and dispositioning data exceptions, defining metrics that measure stewardship requests vs throughput, and delivering test and training data sets to RxVantage analysts and data engineers.. What you’ll be doing: Research, analyze, and disposition requests for new MDM data values with the goal of ensuring data quality Analyze existing MDM data for potential duplicates or errors and submit corrections Document standard operation procedures for resolving data exceptions Continually improve SME knowledge of data (domains, sources, use) relevant to RxVantage use cases Learn the business aspects of life sciences, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical industries as they pertain to resolving data exceptions Independently work through a Jira backlog of user requests, communicating status, and meeting agreed upon delivery dates Provide input on backlog creation and due dates Comply with the RxVantage data security policies In collaboration with RxVantage data analysts and engineers, create datas
