Job Duties: Design, develop, and apply DS solutions to inform improvements in advertiser experience as well as Reddit ad platform and marketplace performance. Analyse large-scale datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve the effectiveness of our advertising platform. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and translate them into data science solutions. Develop Machine Learning models and Data Science methods to improve anomaly detection, prediction and pattern recognition. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization. Telecommuting permitted. Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative field and two (2) years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field. Special Skill Requirements: (1) Statistical modelling (2) Machine learning algorithms (3) Causal inference (4) Experimentation design (5) Large-scale data processing and analysis using tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Hive (6) Python or R (7) Machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch (8) SQL and relational databases Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
