What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years financial services or legal industry experience, Basic understanding of the GDPR and data privacy principles, Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet strict deadlines, Excellent attention to detail, Ability to prioritise workload effectively, Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex information clearly and professionally, Proactive and collaborative approach, with confidence to build relationships and engage stakeholders across the organisation
Nice to Have
Experience with privacy tools, such as Microsoft Purview and OneTrust is a distinct advantage but not essential
What You'll Do.
Manage and respond to queries related to personal data processing
handle Data Subject Rights requests within legal timeframes
Coordinate and maintain the organisation’s Record of Processing Activities (RoPA)
Coordinate and support business units in completing Privacy Assessments (PAs)
Utilise privacy workflow tools to manage compliance activities effectively
Assist with the implementation of data privacy policies
supporting procedures
and activities to ensure compliance with the GDPR and best practices
Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks
policies and procedures associated with the role
Collaborate with all areas of the organisation to implement practical GDPR solutions and drive data governance best practices
Develop working relationships interdepartmentally to ensure cross functional collaboration across the organisation
Participate in projects and deliver ad hoc tasks as required
