What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Significant experience in business intelligence, analytics, data enablement, or operational reporting in a complex environment, Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and work prioritization, technical expertise in Power BI, semantic modeling, SQL, data transformation, and executive dashboard development
Nice to Have
Experience building reusable, governed data products rather than one-off reports, understanding of data quality, documentation, metadata, and governance practices, Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The Data Insights Lead is a senior technical and people leadership role responsible for building and scaling trusted data, reporting, and analytics capabilities that support operational decision making across Canadian Operations. This role leads to the development of curated data models, standardized KPIs, executive reporting, self-service analytics, and embedded data governance to improve consistency, trust, and speed of insight delivery. The role also serves as a key partner to senior leaders and executives, translating complex operational data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic planning, performance management, and informed decision making across the organization. This position is for a technical leader with people management experience who operates as a player coach, providing hands on leadership while establishing standards, governance, and scalable analytics solutions across the organization.
