Must Have
Experience building production data pipelines and/or data platforms, Knowledge in implementing data ingestion and ETL/ELT workflows, Knowledge in building a data lake / delta lake (lakehouse) on AWS, Proficiency in SQL, Proficiency in Python, Knowledge with metadata management and governance, Knowledge in implementing automated AWS provisioning using IaC, Solid security fundamentals: IAM/least privilege, encryption, secrets management, secure SDLC practices, Ability to Obtain Public Trust
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Experience in operating CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, Hands-on experience utilizing modern DevOps practices, Experience utilizing AI-assisted coding tools, Knowledge graph and Graph RAG experience, ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY

Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines
Implement incremental processing patterns
Build and manage a scalable lakehouse on AWS
Optimize performance and cost
Establish environment standards
Implement a managed metadata repository
Enable end-to-end lineage
Implement governance controls
Build operational data quality checks
Implement automated cloud provisioning in AWS
Build and enhance CI/CD for data pipelines
Improve observability

Work closely with engineering, security, networking, and application teams
